Surprises and excitement: doing qualitative research in academic practice

In this professorial inaugural lecture Professor Susan Smith will explore the reality of researching academic practice in Higher Education, and how reflecting on the practical experience of doing it over time can help your own learning and self-development.

Professor Susan Smith is currently Associate Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at Leeds Beckett University. She works with School colleagues and on university-wide projects that focus primarily on enhancing learning and teaching.

This lecture is part of Leeds Beckett University's Professorial Inaugural Lecture Series.
