Progress to University
Discover ways to support your BTEC learners into Higher Education.
WHERE: Writtle University College
WHEN: Wednesday 12th October
TIME: 17.00 - 19.40
Progress to University is a free event open to all professionals who regularly work with BTEC learners. Organised in collaboration with Essex Collaborative Outreach Network and Writtle University College the event is an excellent opportunity for you to brush up on your knowledge on Higher Education and to provide the best support possible for your students. The evening will offer practical suggestions on ways you can support your students through decision making, UCAS applications and transition onto university.
We are delighted that Dr. Neil Raven, a leading research consultant will be presenting his findings on student progression and facilitating a workshop to explore why students with BTECs progression to university is lower than expected.
Writtle University College will be sharing ways you can best prepare your students for higher education and UCAS will be leading a session on personal statements.
Please forward onto any colleagues who this could be of interest to.
We look forward to seeing you there.
