Description

Progressing your career in corporate fundraising

The IoF Corporate Fundraising Special Interest Group (SIG) event is continuing its career development focus this year, by offering individuals, working in corporate fundraising, an insight into what skills, experience (and sometimes just good luck) are required to move into a Head of Department or team management role.

Attendees will hear from a diverse panel of fundraising managers about their career paths and the route they took to get their current job.

Our panel will highlight some of the things you can do now to help you prepare for your next role and some of their learnings as leaders of corporate fundraising in their organisation.

Our panel:

  • Kathryn Young, Head of Accounts at Alzheimer’s Society
  • Nick Scott, Head of Corporate Fundraising at War Child
  • Charlotte Stevens, Development Manager at Fair Trials International
  • Bianca O'Donnell, Head of Corporate Fundraising, British Heart Foundation

Chaired by:

  • Jenni Anderson, Director of Fundraising at The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

SIG Sponsors TPP will also be on hand to give some top tips for what charities are looking for in their leaders.

The evening will also be an opportunity for you to network with fellow fundraisers. Your ticket will include refreshments.

While our events are open to all, we expect that this event is more suited to individuals who have 3+ years fundraising experience.
