This workshop is an opportunity for academic or research staff to explore your career context and identify skills or opportunities that could support you to develop and progress your career in the future. The workshop will also investigate the steps you can take to build a network to support you in developing you career including identity mentors, using them effectively and finding support from your peer community. The workshop will also explore power structures and influencing strategies so that you can work to raise your profile amongst your peers and managers within your current career context.
