About this event

Ga Club is designed to bring together beginner and intermediate Ga speakers (both Ghanaian and non-Ghanaians) and provide them with a fun, relaxed and unique environment where they can practice and improve their knowledge of conversational Ga, without the fear of ridicule.

We will have designated specialist speakers who will listen in on conversations, and guide where necessary, which will assist attendees in building confidence in their speaking ability.

We'd love for you to join us from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Thursday 21st August!

Frequently asked questions

Can I start Ga Club at any time?

Yes! It is not a set curriculum or 'class'. It is a speakers' club, in which we cover different topics every month, and give you the room to brush up on pronunciations and practice in a safe space.

What level of speaking ability do I need to be at to come to Ga Club?

We accept all levels from beginner, intermediate and expert. Our sessions accommodate for people who are all at different stages in their Ga speaking/understanding journeys. Even if you only know how to say "te o’yoɔɔ tɛŋŋ", come along!

Is Ga Club available as an online stream?

Not yet, but we're working on it!

Do you have Ga Club for children?

We're currently focusing on people who are 16+ in age.

I consider myself an expert Ga speaker, how can I help?

Drop us an e-mail at info@project1957.com to discuss potentially joining us as a specialist speaker.
