About this event

Welcome to Project 2%!

Project 2% is East London’s biggest and fastest-growing conferenc, powered by BADU and The Black Excellence Network, built for young Black leaders, now in its fourth year. The name challenges the idea that only a “top 2%” of Black professionals make it to senior leadership — here, we’re building capability, bridging knowledge gaps, and empowering the next generation of Black leaders.

This year (for the firs time!), we’ve expanded the age range to 16–24, giving more emerging leaders the chance to grow, gain insight, and start building their legacy early.

Date: Saturday, 13th September 2025 Location: Plexal, Here East, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, E15 2GW

Time: 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Why Attend:

  • Masterclasses & workshops led by Black professionals — from graduates to entrepreneurs to industry experts
  • Keynotes & panel discussions on leadership, growth, and opportunity
  • Practical support for your career: CV clinics, LinkedIn headshots, and direct connections with businesses across industries — not just finance, law, and tech, but also sport, creative industries, and trades (with some offering live work experience placements!)
  • Opportunities with local universities based right on the Olympic Park
  • Networking with peers and mentors to expand your support system
  • Inspiration to step into leadership and shape the future of Black excellence

Get ready to be part of something big. Join us for a one-day conference of growth, learning, and empowerment at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
