Project Access UK Summit 2025

Theme: From Access to Agency: Shaping Impact in an Ever-Changing World

Getting into a top university is only the beginning. What matters is what comes after: how you use that platform, education, and voice to make change.

At Project Access, we believe education isn’t just a destination. For many students, getting in means not just breaking barriers, but turning lived experience into systems change. This summit is about that next step: moving from opportunity to action.

What's happening?

Panel 1 | Navigating Challenges in the 21st Century

No roadmaps, just the toughest questions of our time: climate, conflict, inequality, geopolitics. Policy experts, diplomats, consultants, and finance leaders unpack how they’re tackling these challenges, and what the next generation needs to know, including:

  • Priscilla Boiardi, Policy Analyst, OECD (Private Finance for Sustainable Development Unit)
  • Simon McDonald, Former Head of the UK Diplomatic Service & Permanent Under-Secretary @ FCDO

Keynote | TEDx-style InspirationUnni Krishnan, Global Humanitarian Director at Plan International.

A lifelong humanitarian who has led responses to some of the world’s biggest crises, Unni brings a powerful story about choosing purpose over prestige and building impact that lasts. His keynote will challenge us to think about what it really means to turn values into action in a turbulent world.

Panel 2 | From Idea to Action

Social impact leaders, nonprofit founders, and grassroots organisers share the unfiltered truth about turning ambition into reality. What it takes, what goes wrong, and why it’s still worth it.

Networking with a Difference

Snacks, conversations, and the chance to meet people who actually want to change things.

From the lecture hall to the policy table, from grassroots action to global influence, this is where the next generation of changemakers meet those already walking the path.

👉 Don’t miss it, let’s drive change together.

P.S. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day to keep you energised and engaged.Note: This is an in-person event and will not be streamed.
