Description

Project Bank Account (PBA) Seminars

To assist clients and contractors understand the implications of PBAs, the Specialist Engineering Contractors' Group (Scotland) (SECG) and the Scottish Building Contracts Committee (SBCC) have set up a series of seminars which features specialists from all areas of the PBA field.

We have arranged 2 seminars, one commencing at 0930, the other at 1400. A buffet lunch will be available from 1300 for delegates attending either event.

Delegates will know that for contracts commencing from 31 October 2016, Scottish Government bodies must now include a PBA in tender documents with an estimated award value at least in the following amounts:

  • £4,104,394 for building projects; and
  • £10,000,000 for civil engineering projects.

Our free seminars aim to dispel some of the myths of operating PBAs and assist clients and contractors when they introduce this new system.
