Take part in our Project Bootcamp and discover how to drive a positive change that matters to you. The Project Bootcamp is a 4-week course designed to help you unlock your creative potential and learn how to build a project of your choice.

By taking part in this course you will:

  • Come up with an idea for a personal project
  • Design and craft your own project
  • Find a way to pursue your project that fits in with your life
  • Meet new people

Have you ever found yourself feeling uninspired, fed-up, struggling to follow-up on things, being cynical, blaming the universe or thinking that you are not good enough?

If this sounds familiar then keep the faith because you are not alone. Things could be different. Imagine unlocking your creative potential, having the space to learn how to kick-off a project and driving a positive change around you.

The course will comprise of 4 sessions taking place on 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st January 2017 |

If you want to turn your ideas into action and craft a project that fits in with your life. Or if you simply want to learn new skills and reach out to new people.

Who will facilitate the course?

The course will be facilitated by Agnes Branny. Agnes is the founder and director of the Project Pop-Up – a new social enterprise with an aim to help people help others through delivering meaningful projects. Agnes has 10 years' of experience of developing and delivering projects that improve wellbeing of people, including adults, families, children, young people and students.

Her portfolio of projects spans across several non-profit organisations, public services, private companies and other social enterprises with local and international impact. Aside from developing resources such as websites and toolkits, securing funding and delivering workshops and events, Agnes’s main highlights are:

  • Writing a project toolkit for the European Peer Training Organisation
  • Pioneering Family Sign Language classes for families of deaf children
  • Delivering events with up to 200 attendees
  • Being a trainer during the Peer Education Forum and 'Raising Children with Confidence'
  • Securing funding for, designing and creating a community room
  • Bringing new, digital solutions for better communication to over 4000 university employees and students

Do I need to know anything about projects to take part?

No prior experience of delivering projects is necessary to take part in the Bootcamp. The course will guide you through everything you need to know.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All materials are provided by the course organiser, but you may want to bring a notebook with you.

What’s included in the course ?

Your fee includes 4 x 2hour learning sessions in a centrally located venue, free learning materials and refreshments. A £5 eventbrite booking fee is also included in the price.

What are my transport/ parking options?

The Project Cafe is conveniently located in Glasgow city centre, close to Sauchiehall Street, The Glasgow Film Theatre and Mandors Fabric Shop. If you are commuting by public transport, your nearest stations are Glasgow Queen Street and Central Stations.

The nearest subway station is Cowcaddens.
