On 26 and 27 January 2017, we will organize a conference at VU University Amsterdam to present and discuss the results of our research project 'Finding the limits of the limes', which has aimed to apply spatial dynamical modelling to the reconstruction of the cultural landscape in the Dutch Roman limes.
This conference focuses on modelling approaches to subsistence economy, demography, transport and mobility and socio-economic networks in the Roman period. We invite all interested to attend the conference, and contribute to the debate. Registration is free, and lunch will be provided.
The preliminary programme can be found on our website http://limeslimits.wordpress.com. Feel free to distribute the call.
