Project: Impact - Mental Health Matters in Young Adults.
Fri 21 April 2017, 19:00 – 22:00 BST
Project: Impact have partnered with a leading mental health professional to deliver a unique event.
Project: Impact - Mental Health Matters is an event with a focus on mental health amongst young adults. We will be discussing and tackling key issues around mental health relevant to the lives on young adults.
Whether for you or for someone close to you, this is an event not to be missed. As the Uni exam season approaches, and all the stress that accompanies it, this will be a beneficial event.
For this event, we will be focusing on family dynamics and its effects on mental health. How much of an impact does your upbringing have on your mental health? The emotional support or lack of it, potential verbal/physical abuse, childhood financial difficulties, absence of a parent or more etc. How much of an effect do these factors have on us mentally, and how do they shape us in adulthood? We will be exploring these factors and more on the night.
Our lead speaker, a seasoned practitioner with years of experience is well equipped with addressing the issues surrounding mental health in the lives of young adults
We have put extensive planning into making this event happen as our contribution to the mental health struggles that evidently plague many within our generation.
