Project management - Tips and tools to get the right things done

The course objective is to provide you with a number of project management tools to support your focus, planning and decision-making.

You’ve had the great idea, you’ve made some headway to making it a reality and now you need to get organised to take things further and get results. You might not think of yourself as a project manager, but if you are trying to get something done, you are! And a few professional project management tips and tools could serve you well on your journey.

I’ve spent twenty years in project management – it isn’t rocket science but let me shorten your learning journey by sharing my recommended tools to help you get things done. We’ll look at how to prioritise your time so you spend more time doing the right things for your business. Entrepreneurs need to be great problem solvers, so we’ll look at how to find the root causes of problems so you aren’t just sticking plasters on symptoms. Once your enterprise starts to grow in size it grows in complexity as well, so we’ll start a work plan so you and your team can keep track of what needs to be done, when.

You’ll leave the session with a few carefully selected, practical skills to apply immediately at work.
