Project Wild Thing goes wild with Outdoor People on National Children's Day
Event Information
Description
Is the modern world disconnecting our children from the great outdoors?!
Can we ‘rewild’ our children?
Come and see Project Wild Thing in the run up to National Children’s Day UK 2014 in one of the wildest places in Wales, a country that has recently legislated to protect children’s right to play, and debate how we can, together, help communities give children back their childhood and get them outdoors more.
And whilst you watch the film, your children and teens don't have to stay inside as the Plas Y Brenin staff have volunteered to take them out to try out some outdoor adventure skills for themselves.

Hosted by Outdoor People to mark their launch as a social enterprise helping families, kids and communities get outdoors more, and with drinks and snacks provided by The Outdoor Industry Association, we promise a fun filled evening, with time to discuss and debate and maybe just change the fate of children in the future...
Come and join us in Snowdonia, and then join the UK wide movement: https://projectwildthing.com/thewildnetwork
