  • 3 hours

Where: Starting at Hotel Continental CT5 2BP walking to Hampton Pier Car Park

Come and join us for a stroll along the promenade to help to raise awareness for those living with dementia and hidden disabilities.

The walk can be taken as slowly and leisurely as needed. The course is approximately 10km (return trip) but there is also the option for a shorter 5km walk (return trip to Long Rock) or 3km walk (return trip to Seaview Slipway) for those who would like to complete a shorter route. Or you can walk any distance that is comfortable for you. We want the event to be truly accessible to all and all family members including dogs are welcome.

Fancy dress is optional but encouraged. Perhaps you'd like to wear blue for dementia or yellow for hidden disabilities?

Fundraising is also optional and sponsorships can be made by completing the Promenade for Dementia Sponsorship Form donations can be made on the day. Any funds raised for the event will be put towards future dementia awareness activities.

Public parking is available nearby at Gorrell Tank car park and at Whitstable Harbour.

Can’t register online? Register on the day at the stand outside the Hotel Continental.
