About this event
Promise Learning Collaborative - Scaffolding (part 2)
Our final in person Promise Learning Collaborative of this series takes place in Edinburgh at Easter Road Stadium, on Wednesday 12th November 10am – 3.30pm. This will be the sixth in a series of events taking place around the country.
Places at this event are fully funded and open to all across the workforce who wish to network and share learning around implementing the promise.
This foundation is about the ways in which the 'care system' relates to, and is dependent on, other systems and structures that although may be considered as separate, often have a significant impact on lives.
What the promise said:
"Children, young people, families, and care experienced adults must be supported by a system that is there when it is needed. The scaffolding of help, support and accountability must be ready and responsive when it is required."

Due to the number of themes, we will split Scaffolding over two event. This one will cover the themes of:
- Health
- Justice
- Legislation
- Scrutiny and Inspection
As a collaborative when you sign up we will ask you to tell us what challenges you face around the themes under the foundation of Scaffolding. Those registering to attend before the 29th August will also be given the opportunity to offer to present a 10 min input showcasing work they have been undertaking that they wish to share. These inputs will be circulated to participants who are registered by the 1st Sept, to choose which 5 inputs they most wish to hear on the day.
There will be lots of time on the day to share, network and explore challenges with peers, so dont worry if your presentation isnt chosen you will still gets the chance to share your work.
