Promoting Independence for Children With Physical Difficulties

Is your child having difficulty with handwriting, toileting, dressing or any of their daily occupations? This workshop aims to provide you and your child with ideas and strategies to promote independence in with their daily living skills. The workshop will provide you with some examples of difficulties your child may be experiencing in their everyday life and some strategies which may support your child including:

• Dressing

• Washing (bath/ shower)

• Eating and drinking

• Toileting

• Handwriting
