Promoting positive mental health and well-being in the workplace
Thursday 25th May 2017 (9.30am–4pm)
Thursday 2nd November 2017 (9.30am–4pm)
This one-day workshop will give participants tools, techniques and strategies that they can take away and use to support the well-being of their team. There will also be an opportunity to share ideas and learning in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Following the event, each participant will be given 1 hour of one-to-one coaching with the facilitator to deal with a specific issue related to workforce well-being.
During the workshop, participants will explore:
whether there is a problem with mental health and wellbeing at work
why it is likely to get worse if we don’t act now
the legal and ethical reason to act before damage is done
why you need to avoid “sticking plasters” over the problem
how to be creative in your support and solutions
how managers can help everyone become more resilient.
The event is suitable for senior leaders, managers and HR professionals and is part of Practice Solutions' well-being programme "Building a healthier and more resilient workforce".
Unhappy people don’t leave organisations; they leave their managers. Well-being shapes the quality of our working lives and colours how we live well. In an everchanging world, organisations must now realise that the well-being of their workforce should be one of their top three priorities.
* Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
