Overview

Assistant Educational Psychologist led online training for up to two members of staff from the same school or setting.

Promoting Positive Playtimes

This training is centred around providing information, approaches and resources to support schools in developing and maintaining positive playtime cultures and experiences.

The training will offer:

  • psychological models and approaches to support positive interactions and communication between both pupils and staff
  • aims to support schools to develop an engaging and inclusive culture for children and young people to develop their social skills and confidence.

This training is beneficial for both primary and secondary settings and is likely to be most useful for SENCOs, TAs and other staff who supervise lunch and break times, particularly lunch time supervisors.

Cost of this course includes:

  • Spaces for up to two members of staff from the same school
  • One follow up session to support implementation (online)*

*This could be for troubleshooting and/or action planning depending on the needs of the school.

Please note this course is for staff members who work in West Northamptonshire settings only.

Further Information

The course will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams, we will send the link at least 5 working days before the course date. Please note, if two members of staff from the same school will be attending, they must attend on seperate devices.
