These two sessions will cover how you can effectively raise the online profile of your business using search engine optimisation and social media.
Please note: While we recommend that you register for both sessions you may book on to the morning or afternoon sessions separately.
Morning Session - Focus on Search Engine Optimisation (10.00am to 12.30pm):
This workshop will explain what Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is and how to ensure your business website and content is attracting the customers you need.
We will look at how Google works, help you to understand content strategy and take you through the 3 pillars for SEO success.
You will cover:
- What is SEO?
- How does Google work?
- 3 pillars of SEO success
- Content strategy
Afternoon Session - Social Media: Beyond the Basics (1.30pm to 4.00pm):
Social media is exciting place to be if you know what you are doing. Take control of your social media and digital marketing and make it work for your business without it taking over your life. In this workshop we will cover:
How social media can be used intelligently in your business with up-to-date information about the latest social media tactics and tools;
Understand how you can use social media for sales, marketing, customer service and learning;
Tips to help you be more productive with social media (including the intelligent use of automation tools);
Suggestions for resources to help you keep learning about social media, because it’s constantly changing.
Please note: To be eligible to attend these free workshops you need to be based in one of the following local council areas: East Devon, Mid Devon, Teignbridge or Exeter.
