Bring along your picnic, wave your flags and enjoy this great end-of-summer family evening in Wigan’s historic park. Book your tickets early to avoid missing out!

If you are looking for a hassle-free night, why not take advantage of the VIP experience? You'll arrive to a pre-pitched gazebo for the night with tables and chairs, complete with a luxury afternoon tea that includes; freshly made sandwiches, sultana scones, jam and clotted cream and prosecco for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 guests.

Please note dogs are not permitted at this event.

Ticket sales are final and refunds will not be applied.

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic chairs and tables, however gazebos and large garden furniture, along with sharp knives and glassware are not permitted and will be confiscated.

You are permitted to bring your own alcohol on site.

Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are limited and booking is essential to attend.

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

All sales are final and non-refundable.

Do you offer special rates for disabled guests or carer tickets?

There are no discounts for those that are registered disabled, though a free of charge carers ticket is available with a full priced adult or child ticket.

How do I verify my carers ticket?

Email us with the relevant documentation at events@wigan.gov.uk along with the order number for your paid ticket and we will email a carers ticket directly to you.

What document classes as proof to verify my carers ticket?

Entitlement to the higher care component of the PIP, Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance age 65+. Letter from the person's GP confirming that they are disabled that requires extra help. Blind or Partially Sighted person's registration card or a Certificate of Visual Impairment.

Are wheelchairs allowed?

Yes, wheel chairs are allowed. Please email us in advance with any additional requirements that will make the events as accessible and enjoyable as possible. We will endeavour to meet these where we can.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not permitted at this event, with the exception of assistance dogs however you will need to bring your identification card with you. Please be aware that fireworks will be let off at this event

Do you have accessible toilets?
