In this interactive workshop Martin Khechara reveals his best advice for excellent and engaging public speaking, whether face to face, through a zoom call, or to a conference. He also shares some top tips for engagement through video and gives some considerations for production of these most accessible outreach resources that he has been using extensively during the pandemic.

Dr Martin Khechara is an Associate Professor for engagement in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) at the University of Wolverhampton. A former research scientist, he specialises in microbiology and now has an international profile for his pedagogical research in student and public engagement. Other than his role as an educator, Martin is a science communicator, presenter, writer and performer who believes in the power of STEM and study at university to change lives. He works actively in the community to bring the magic of STEM subjects to those who need it the most.
