Description

The Centre for Spirituality and Cultural Advancement (CSCA), in collaboration with SimplyIslam.sg, is pleased to annouce a forthcoming course, Prophetic Healing. This is a popular course organised by SimplyIslam Singapore, and the course instructor, Ustadh Muhammad Salleh, will be in the UK to conduct this course exclusively for our participants.

The Prophetic Healing course is a weekend (2-days) introductory workshop on the Prophetic healing approaches. This course will introduce to participants the medicines and treatments as practised by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ‎. Participants will learn about the remedies for common ailments e.g. fever, migraine, etc, and will learn the medical benefits of certain food items e.g. honey, dates, vinegar, etc. Participants will learn about ruqya and its usage, and understand the treatment of ailments caused by magic and the evil eye. Participants will also learn the theory and practical of the practice of cupping (al-hijamah).

Course Requirements
Students should have interest on Prophetic traditions, specifically on the subject of healing as advised and practiced by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ‎. No other knowledge, exposure or familiarity is required. Non-Muslims are welcome.

About the Teacher
Ustaz Muhammad Salleh is a graduate of Singapore's prestigious Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah and has completed his full-time pre-university studies at the madrasah. He also studied at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is an accredited Asatizah (Islamic religious teacher) certified by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore and the Asatizah Recognition Board, and is currently Principal of SimplyIslam’s weekend Islamic school. He is also SimplyIslam’s Arabic language Consultant and regularly conducts translation and interpretation assignments. He also teaches various courses at SimplyIslam on Conversational Arabic, Beginner/Intermediate Arabic, Stories from the Qur'an, Islamic Creed (Aqida). He is an expert on Prophetic healing and medicine and regularly conducts the “Prophetic Healing” course at SimplyIslam. He is proficient in Arabic, English and Malay.
