Description

Devon and Somerset Trading Standards are hosting a free event to help businesses protect themselves against digital threats. Digital threats are real, common and on the increase, they can cause both financial and reputational damage to all businesses in any sector.

The event will focus on business protection, giving information on the latest types of fraud, how to recognise them and, most importantly, how to protect your business.

The event will include -

  • An overview of the current digital threats effecting businesses presented by Barclays Bank.
  • A case study and real life scenario showing the effects of digital crime presented by Devon & Cornwall Police.
  • The key preventative measures, how to plan against and how to protect your business from digital threats. This will be presented by the South West Cyber Security Cluster and Devon & Cornwall Business Council.
