Protecting Children in a Technology Driven World
Event Information
Description
Breaches of child safety have wide-reaching consequences not only for the children concerned but for all schools and those entrusted with our children’s care.
The 'Keeping children safe in education' statutory guidance is being constantly updated, reflecting the ever-evolving digital threats/challenges that children, and those charged with their protection, face. Schools need robust, up-to-date digital safeguarding tools, giving peace of mind that students are protected, as well as ensuring compliance. With the field constantly changing this can often be challenging.
We would like to invite you and colleagues to join us and representatives of other schools to a discussion with leading experts on the changing safeguarding legislation and the implications it has for our schools. This forum will also focus on how technology partners Gaia and Smoothwall can help schools to actively monitor and implement a safeguarding strategy to ensure every child is safe online.
