Event description

Description

Value is always created within a business be it a brand, a product, a website, a training course, a video or promotion materials. In this session, you will learn how to recognise the intellectual property (IP) you own and use, how to protect your creations and how to make sure you are not infringing anyone else’s rights.

We're jointly hosting this event with Newcastle Library’s Business & IP Centre who will introduce the key ideas behind Know-how, Trade Marks, Designs, Patents and Copyrights.

In addition to the workshops you'll have the opportunity to find out how you can access support with your own IP issues from the Business & IP Centre.

This professional development workshop is for emerging artists and other creative practitioners looking to commercialise their work. It has been funded by Arts Council England and Newcastle City Library
