Event description
Understand the risks from Cyber Criminals

About this event

In Northamptonshire 6 out of 10 businesses are aware that they have been the subject of online fraud.

Aside from the damage it might do to your business reputation and the costs incurred in putting it right, what are the data protection implications?

When do you need to report it to the ICO?

What records would you need to keep internally?

Datasense, alongside the Northamptonshire Police are putting on a workshop which will help your business protect its data from cyber criminals and ensure you are GDPR compliant.

Gayle Parker will be talking about GDPR and how to ensure that you have the policies in place to keep you compliant.

Chris Lambert will talk about the physical ways that cyber criminals try to infiltrate your IT systems and manipulate you and your staff to get sensitive information from you.

Heather Crowley from the ONPFCC will be running an interactive game showing you how your decisions around cyber security can impact a business.
