About this event
Who is it for?
People who are passionate about the importance and value of the PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT and/or interested in the strength of values as powerful emotion laden motivators generally.
Why come?
Spend time with people who have a common interest to share and hear different perspectives and explore the meaning and benefit of 'PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT' to yourself and others.
The sessions provide safe space, encouraging courageous conversations, development of whole group thinking and a commitment to personal action for positive impact.
Develop your thinking about PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT and translate this into a tangible action/s for you to apply in practice as part of the International Mother Earth Day https://www.un.org/en/observances/earth-day on Thursday 22nd April. We are delighted to be partnering with Dr Morgan Phillips, Author of: GREAT ADAPTATIONS - IN THE SHADOW OF A CLIMATE CRISIS, UK Co-Director of The Glacier Trust, and Head of Insight at Global Action Plan who will introduce the topic.
The format
The 90 minutes session uses the playful ValuesJam approach which is inspired by the concept of a music jam where musicians come together with a sense of trust, curiosity and playfulness. At the same time, it draws on a blend of three highly respected approaches: Bohm Dialogue (David Bohm), Thinking Spaces (Nancy Klein) and Humble Inquiry (Edgar H. Schein). The session will be recorded for access post the event.
The VALUESJAM DEEP DIVE series has been created by SERVICEBRAND GLOBAL on behalf of Global Values Alliance and a share of the proceeds will be donated to World Values Day.
