Event description
An introduction to Protective Behaviours for education staff who missed the in-house inset day or who need a refresher

About this event

All school staff delivering the Protective Behaviours curriculum need to have Protective Behaviours training in order to practise effectively and safely.

All schools using Protective Behaviours as an all year round underpinning approach to safeguarding, emotional well being, trauma informed practice and safe relationships would ideally have all staff trained in Protective Behaviours.

This is the introductory level course for all staff, if you'd like the 2 day Foundation course which includes 'putting the PB Process into practice' please book on a Foundation course with me. Ideally someone 'leading the PB practice' in school would be trained to this level and perhaps move up to Specialist Practitioner after that.

Please enquire for more information about whole school training ann@protectivebehaviourstraining.co.uk

Organiser Ann Seal - PB Training Partnership

Organiser of Protective Behaviours Introduction Course for education staff

Protective Behaviours is a practical down to earth approach to personal safety. It is a process that encourages self-empowerment and brings with it the skills to raise self-esteem and to help avoid being victimised. This is achieved by helping individuals to recognise and trust their intuitive feelings (Early Warning Signs) and to develop strategies for self-protection. The Protective Behaviours process encourages an adventurous approach to life that satisfies the need for fun and excitement without violence and fear.

Further information available at:

The Protective Behaviours Training Partnership was formed in 2012 to provide opportunities to promote Protective Behaviours and training for all at a realistic and affordable cost. A fundamental part of this vision is also to uphold quality standards for PB training and provide continuing professional development for PB trainers and those training to become trainers.
