Please note a maximum of 2 places per organisation

This session will show you how to successfully demonstrate there is a genuine need for the projects you run. Being able to show need for the things you do will give your funding applications a better chance of success and ensure that what you do will have the maximum impact.

Who is this web conference suitable for?

The course is suitable for anyone with responsibility for applying for funding or for individuals looking to start a project for the first time.

What does this web conference cover?

This course will help you:

Identify need for your project
Write effective needs statements for funding bids
Locate resources to help you demonstrate need

How does a web conference work?

Once you have booked onto the web conference you will receive an invitation via email with a link to the course. Simply click the link on the date of the course to take part.

Entry requirements

  • You will need access to the Internet and to be able to hear sound through your compute

  • Participants will require a reasonable understanding of English

  • To access this course free of charge you will need to be currently working for a voluntary or community organisation based in Leicester or Leicestershire. Organisations who do not meet these requirements will be asked to pay
