Event description

Description

A special Friday 13th night of spoken word to celebrate sisterhood.

Spoken word is a feminist force. Yes, the sisters reign supreme in the spoken word scene. Why? Because a 'feminine' voice is revolution. It’s the sound of space being claimed back (finally uninterrupted). It’s the sound of wit, dignity and empathy forging change.
We share our stories to explore our differences and in doing so find all the ways we reflect one another, instead.

So for Friday 13th we're stirring the cauldron with a potent mix of the poetry scenes iconic women. Bring your sisters and brothers and gender non-binary siblings to wtiness what these women have to say.
