Event Details

Come and join us in this workshop where you will learn the correct and easiest way to prune fruit trees and bushes. Bring your own secateurs and get stuck in!

This largely practical workshop for winter pruning of fruit trees will concentrate mainly on top fruit varieties such as apples, pears, plums and cherries. This is not just about large fruit trees - learn about how to take care of espalier and step-over fruit trees, and fruit bushes which can be incorporated into a small garden.  You will find out how to make the most of your garden and how you can produce a good crop of juicy fruit in a small area.

Trainer: Kate Daly

If you have any mobility requirements, please contact capitalgrowth@sustainweb.org before booking to discuss your particular needs.
