Keynote – Alastair Greener - Build Your Speaking Business By Making It Personal
As speakers, most of us would probably like more business and build better relationships with our clients, but the big question is - how?

As a communications trainer, TV presenter and interviewer
Alastair has learned how major organisations have developed  sophisticated algorithms to make our interactions with them more personalized. It’s changing our expectations and the way we think about them.

How can we learn from this and make ourselves more
memorable, so we can get more bookings?

In this keynote Alastair will show us that by making our
businesses more personal, it is possible.

1. How to make your interactions with new and existing clients more personal.
2. How the quality of our communication makes as much difference as the quantity.
3. How small gestures can make a huge impact.

Keynote – David Henson - Top-Tips for Tip-Top Slide Presentations
This talk with cover some tools that you can immediately take away and use in your slide presentations. Delivered in a fun way, which includes the odd interruption by Bad Dave, whose ideas about slides are somewhat at odds with my own!

1. When to use slides and, just as importantly, when not to use slides.
2. All about using images in slides – what, how, why.
3. The one big tip that will transform your slide presentations overnight (to be revealed)

Meet Your Speakers

Alastair Greener spent 16 years leading a team of over a hundred entertainment professionals on cruise liners, including QE2 and Queen Mary 2, while being the face and voice of numerous training videos and writing the company blog.
He’s now a communications expert with over 25 years’ experience presenting on television, video, radio and stage.
He also delivers a range of keynote speeches on communication, and with his company Present Yourself, he helps individuals and organizations communicate more effectively, by leading insightful, interactive and inspiring workshops in Presentation and Media skills.

David Henson has spent his whole working life in the business of visual and written communication which includes photography, presentations, photographic printing, graphic design, web design and video editing. “When people ask me how long I have been the slide presentation man I tell them it’s either 3 years or 33 years. I ran a company producing 35mm slides for 13 years from 1986 and the current iteration of the business combines my ability to design presentations with the more recently-learned skills of communication and speaking. And whilst it winds me up a little bit when people say that they are passionate about what they do, I have to say I really, really enjoy my work!”
