Event description
Getting Online Keynotes with Corporates and Agencies in 2020

About this Event

While locked down in Andorra due to Covid, Cathy O'Dowd put together a home studio in her spare bedroom and adapted her most popular corporate keynote into an interactive webinar. She is now doing paid webinar keynotes, directly with companies and via speaker bureaus.

Cathy will share with us an extract from that keynote and then talk through how she adapted from stage to screen, her choices of software and hardware for her home studio, how she manages the interactive component, and her experiences so far with clients and fees in our new virtual presentation world. Bring your questions for the QnA session and tap into her experience of getting paying keynotes in this new way of working.

6pm - Meet n Mingle – 7+ minute breakout room sessions with small groups to connect with your PSA friends and meet new friends.

6:30pm - Start

9pm - End

There is a comfort break usually about 7:45pm for about 10 minutes.

Speaker Bios:

Cathy O’Dowd is the first woman in the world to climb Mount Everest from both its north and south sides. Cathy has been a professional speaker for nearly 25 years and has given paid speeches in 45 countries on six continents. She is an Honorary Fellow of the PSA and has received the Professional Speaking Award of Excellence.

Cathy’s most challenging Himalayan epic was as part of a team attempting a new route on an 8000 metre peak. She has turned this experience into a fascinating interactive case-study of successful project execution while managing acute uncertainty.

Cathy is one of a small subset of speakers whose entire business model is based on keynoting fees, her work is 50% through speaker bureaus, 50% direct with companies.

Hope to see you online!
