PSA South West Launch Party
Join us to celebrate the launch of the newest PSA Region serving the South West, in its new home in central Bristol. Regional President – Bryony Thomas, and Vice President – Sue Richardson, warmly invite you to an evening of magic, making connections, memorable speakers, mouth watering nibbles, and even a bit of music.
Come along to:
- Get a flavour of the PSA,
- Meet professional speakers from across the UK,
- See some great speakers in action, and,
- Network with people in the region who are already, or aspire, to make speaking a key revenue stream for their businesses.
Who is this event for?
Local PSA Members: If you are an existing member of the PSA living and working in the South West of England, we look forward to welcoming you at this, and many of our future events.
PSA Members: If you are an existing member of the PSA from outside the region who wants to show your support and raise a glass with us as we start this journey, we will warmly welcome you.
Non Members: If and, perhaps most importantly, if you are not yet a member but you do already, or wish to, speak professionally, we extend an extra special invitation to you in finding out more about the UK's professional body that's here to help you do exactly that.
What's on the agenda?
As well as bubbly, nibbles and a good old fashioned chin wag, we’ve lined up three fabulous speakers, all of whom have used support from the PSA to build their experience, credibility and speaker businesses:
Mark Lee: The Magic of being a more memorable speaker
Mark's career followed the traditional path of accountant, children's party entertainer, tax adviser, magician and speaker - but not necessarily in that order. In this session he’ll share his magical insights on making the transition to speaker, and making yourself more memorable along the way.
Steve Bustin: Speaking and Presenting with Authority
Steve is an award-winning speaker, proven media expert, and the author of ‘The Authority Guide to Presenting and Public Speaking’. In this session, he’ll share his key tips on building your authority as a professional speaker.
Celia Delaney: Entertains Us!
Celia is a speaker, singer, and comedienne… sometimes all at once. She is known for her inspiring keynote speeches on topics such as confidence, promoting your business through speaking, and sales, and is slowly touring the world with her solo cabaret shows, Man Wanted! and, Man Found!
Laughter, song and pearls of wisdom are guaranteed…
We're pricing tickets to cover the cost of canapés and a wee glass or two of bubbly. However, If you need something more substantial, bar meals and snacks can be purchased before or during the event. All PSA speakers generously give their time in support of their fellow members. Which means, that you get to see the very best speaking talent for just the cost of the refreshments!
Dress code for the evening is business casual with a bit of sparkle.
We'll be welcoming people from 6pm, with our first speaker due on stage at around 7pm. The event closes at 9pm... but the bar will remain open for you to continue any interesting conversations.
