As the song goes, ‘Hey baby it’s cold outside’ but not at January's PSA Yorkshire gathering where it’ll be warm and cosy. How so I hear you cry? Because we’ve got a line-up of red hot speakers for you this month to help you speak more and speak better.

9.00 am onwards is the usual networking and picking of brains with like-minded people over a friendly and heart warming beverage.

The meeting will start 9.30 am prompt.

Rebooked and how to sell products before you’ve even spoken. He’ll also share his Fit, Fee or Flee method

You’ll learn:
· How to get booked by other speakers
· How to work with bureaus
· How to get rebooked

Nigel has spoken to nearly 2million people over 22 years. He’s been awarded ‘Speaker of the Year’ from the three largest CEO groups in Europe. Author of 5 books.

Nigel was one of the youngest CEO’s in the city of London age 26, has been in business, made money, lost money and remade money and therefore has experience on how to lead and motivate teams across the world.

The one distinction is the customer experience, which is today’s competitive battlefield. Every inter-action is a moment of truth, and the experience can make or break a relationship and either lose or retain a customer.

Steve spent 25 years in various customer support, account management and training roles before running a franchise delivering business and personal development to SME’s.

Steve is heavily involved and committed in PSA, Toastmasters, NLP training and clinical Hypnotherapy. He coaches and runs master-classes to business leaders, SME’s and organisations.

 

 

 

Simon Day
Your Toughest Audience is Yourself

In studying the art of communicating with others, Simon has learned something unexpected, yet critical: how we communicate with ourselves completely alters the way our messages are delivered to - and received by - other people. Gaining control of our internal dialogue means we can have more meaningful dialogues with others.

You’ll learn:
· how to gain better control of your internal dialogue.

· how to communicate with greater empathy and sensitivity.

· how to deliver feedback in a way that empowers and increases engagement and productivity.

Simon is a marketing executive turned English teacher embarking on a speaking career. He has a degree in English, a postgraduate certificate in Education and is completing an MA in Creative Writing. He also holds Grade 6 Piano and Grade 8 Speaking in Public.

Showcasing is a very important and fruitful part of the meeting as it gives great opportunities to the person doing the showcase and the people watching. The person delivering the showcase will receive invaluable feedback on how they can improve their offering. You in the audience will also have an opportunity to learn from the feedback you hear.

Cancellation Policy: Please be aware that we do not accept cancellation of bookings for PSA meetings, as we make arrangements to support the number of places booked and incur costs that cannot often be recovered. If you have booked a place at a PSA event and are no longer able to attend, please ask around your local PSA community to see if another speaker wishes to attend in your place - we’re happy for you to transfer your booking, and just ask that you let us know by emailing admin@thepsa.co.uk.

Photography
We will be taking photographs throughout the event and may also be video recording the event. By purchasing a ticket you agree that all photography may be used at the discretion of the PSA and for the business of any speaker being filmed during the event. However, if you do not wish to appear or be identified in any photography or video footage please advise any Committee member on arrival at the event so we can, of course, accommodate your preference.
