Parish Safeguarding Officer Forum
These forums are a chance for Parish Safeguarding Officers within the Diocese of Bath and Wells to network with others, share good practice and ask the safeguarding team any questions. Forums take place online via Zoom and begin at 1 pm. You do not have to attend the entire session once you have signed up.
We have adjusted the way we deliver these forums to highlight specific topics within safeguarding. The main focus of this forum will be:
AI in Safeguarding with Safeguarding Manager - Ben Goodhind
This PSO forum will be focused on exploring the benefits and risks of AI (artificial Intelegence) in the context of child an adult safeguarding. This will be an opportunity to start thinking about how this significant change in technology may impact the risks we need to manage in the future and how AI is currently impacting on the safeguarding world.
There will be opportunities to ask any questions about the topic throughout the session as well as a general Q & A towards the end.
