This year your Professional Support Staff Association (PSSA) is combining it's eagerly anticipated AGM with presentations from Chris Chang (Deputy Vice-Chancellor), Fiona Hnatow (Chief People Officer), and a informal celebration of the 30th anniversary of our University status - which was granted on the 7th July 1992.
This year we'll also be inviting nominations for the role of Chair of the PSSA. If you are a member of Professional Support Staff (i.e. not Academic) and would like to submit a nomination, please send a completed nomination form (to include all signatures and candidate’s statement)via email to Barnaby.thomas@port.ac.uk by Monday 27th June 2020. Self-nomination will be accepted. If more than one valid nomination is received, then a vote during the week prior to AGM will take place - only Professional Support Staff will be eligible to vote.
As always, our AGM will be a chance for you to hear what your PSSA has been up to over the last year, and give us your thoughts on what you'd like to see us focus on in 2023.
We're also delighted to be joined by Chris Chang (Deputy Vice-Chancellor), and Fiona Hnatow (Chief People Officer). They'll be giving a little insight into their roles, the career paths that brought them there, and the initiatives they'll currently most passionate about.
Finally, there'll be a chance to catch up with colleagues over refreshments.
