Psychological Flexiblity is all about developing the skills to deal with life's problems and challenges in a healthy and more sustainable way. The PsychFlex skills allow us to be more mindful and attentive, to stop getting 'caught up' with our thoughts and emotions, and to put our values into practice when working towards our goals.

Practicing these skills helps us stop responding to difficult situations with emotional outbursts or impulsive behaviours that we later regret. Research has illustrated the positive impact these skills have on our wellbeing, our productivity and our satisfaction at work.

This session introduces delegates to the core skills, allows them to practice them in a supportive environment and leaves them with a plan for implementation once they've returned to work. Delegates will also receive a free copy of Dr. Richard MacKinnon's guie to Psychological Flexibility: "Show up! Let go! Get moving!" as well as all of the other materials used in the session.
