Event description

Description

This event will be an opportunity for clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists to network and learn about clinical research, psychological theory and service developments related to practice with functional neurological disorders (FND). This event has been organised for psychologists following the International Functional (Psychogenic) Neurological Disorders Conference in Edinburgh in September. It is hoped that the day will inform psychologists about new developments and approaches, and provide a basis for learning about how these might translate into a service context for this challenging and complex arena of clinical practice. It is anticipated that this event will promote a new network for psychologists working with functional disorders.

Call for submissions:

We would like to invite delegates to submit a 3-slide, 5 minute presentation for an ‘information blitz’ session. This could be on any aspect of their FND work and could include clinical case studies, research or service development. If you would like to submit a presentation please send a short (max 200 words) abstract to Jason.Price@stees.nhs.uk.
