Brief description
This interactive short course in Psychology is taught in small groups by psychologists conducting cutting-edge research.
During this session we will ask questions such as:
- Why do people think and behave differently from each other?
- How do we develop?
- Why do cultures differ and how do they shape our perception and behaviour?
- What makes humans so different from other species?
- How does our brain cope with the vast amounts of information we process?
- How can growing psychological knowledge help us to lead healthier and happier lives?
- Do you want to ask a psychologist your own question?

Tutoring
The course is directed by Professor Yulia Kovas and taught by lecturers of the Department of Psychology - one of the top Psychology departments in the world (see world university ranking). Professor Kovas has published over 100 articles in highly regarded journals, and her overall citations exceed 2000. She is also an author of many book chapters and an editor of several book volumes. She has acted as an associate editor to 3 academic journals, and reviews for 35 journals, as well as for international funding bodies.
