Host a psychology student consultancy placement or project - enhance your business with the latest academic knowledge.

About this event

The Psychology Division at the University of Stirling is inviting businesses and organisations to submit proposals for final year Honours students to undertake a student consultancy work placement or project. Our experience , supported by recent research, has shown that these placements have a significant impact for the host organisation, enabling them to advance new and existing projects.

The placement aims to add value to your organisation while enhancing student employability by engaging students in work-based learning. We offer flexible placements and projects requiring a minimum of 50 hours of work up to 120 hours of work, beginning in October 2022. You can host more than one project.

The student experience at the University of Stirling is very important to us and we would like to develop and strengthen partnerships with a wide range of organisations so that we can continue to offer great student opportunities in practice learning.

We are holding a Microsoft Teams session on August 17th between 4 and 5pm, which will explain how this all works and the time frame for placement experiences in 2022 - please register via the button on the right to join this free event. We are delighted to offer this session to you, and hope you can join us to learn about the benefits a student placement can bring to your organisation.

If are unable to join the session but wish to learn more, please contact Dr Sharon Kessler via sharon.kessler@stir.ac.uk or visit our Psychology Placements and Projects page.
