Event description

Description

Assessing and working therapeutically with borderline states in private practice is clinically challenging. This is because patients struggling with BPD bring defences and developmental deficits into the consulting room that are very difficult to address in the ‘here and now’.

Why Attend this Workshop?

'Working with Borderline States in Private Practice' offers two analytically-informed thinking and reflective practice-opportunities for private-practice psychotherapists, counsellors and psychologists registered with the BPC, UKCP, BACP or BPS. The sessions give participants an opportunity to discuss and explore their approaches to this work.

CPD certification will be provided upon successful completion of each seminar:

  • 1st session (May 18th, 2019): Assessing and exploring complex states of mind.
  • 2nd session (Jun 22nd, 2019): Therapeutic technique.
