Winchester has amazing public works of art, many of which will be seen during this tour.
Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.
The walk will begin at one of Winchester’s must see statues – King Alfred – and will include the newly unveiled statue of Jane Austen in celebration of her 250th birthday. The final stop will be outside the Great Hall to view the memorial To Honour a Promise and, en route, we will find out about many other wonderful pieces of art work found in Winchester.
