The integration of health and social care is a major focus of the national policy agenda, from NHS directives to local care models. What does integration really mean? What impacts will integration have for the future delivery of public sector services? And how will people experience health and social care differently?
Join the Public Bubble on Wednesday 26th October 2016 to discuss the future for integrated health and social care with speakers from across the sector:
- James Sanderson, Director of Personalisation and Choice, NHS England
- Karen Mellanby, Director of Networks & Communities, Mind
- Fiona Russell, Senior Adviser, Local Government Association
Guests can arrive from 18:00 & make their way to the Westminster Suite for a prompt 18:30 start.
The Public Bubble is a network run by and for young people on public sector graduate schemes including the Local Government Association’s NGDP, the Civil Service Fast Stream, Teach First, Police Now, Frontline and the NHS Graduate Scheme. We offer a thinking space for public sector grads, fostering collaboration at the grassroots of the sector. Our events are free and include professional training events, speaking events, policy cafes and socials (sentences in bold are included in all event descriptions).
