Successful public engagement is a vital element of your academic training. Understanding why your research is important to different audiences, and how it can be applied by groups working outside of academia, is a key part of the research development process.
This interactive workshop will provide an overview of public engagement within the context of your academic work: what it is, the audiences and groups you can work with and how you can get involved.
It will also cover how public engagement activities can help you to develop additional skills during your degree and align with your wider career goals.
