Public Health Approach to Violence Prevention

The Public Health Approach to Violence Prevention and Reduction Webinar aims to introduce learners to the public health approach and to increase awareness of the role everyone in society can play in violence prevention and reduction. The course will cover: principles of the public health approach; an understanding of the causes and consequences of violence; addressing underlying risk factors that make violence more likely; primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention; and the importance of evaluation and evidence.
