Men’s Health Needs in Birmingham – Report Launch for Men’s Health Awareness Month
Join us for the launch of the Birmingham Men’s Health Inequalities Report. We’ll explore key insights on premature mortality, mental health, lifestyle risks and more — and share system recommendations to improve men’s health outcomes across the city.
As the government launches a national call for evidence to shape core priorities for men’s health in England, Birmingham Inclusion Health has been at the forefront of this agenda locally. Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders across the city, we have led efforts to identify evidence gaps, understand the needs of Birmingham’s male population, and highlight examples of best practice.
This Movember, the Inclusion Health team are presenting a webinar which offers a guided walkthrough of the Birmingham Men’s Health Inequalities Report (2025), presenting key findings on the main drivers of premature mortality among men - including cancer, cardiovascular disease, lifestyle risk factors, mental health, substance misuse, and health literacy.
We will also share a series of strategic recommendations aimed at supporting local systems to better respond to these challenges and reduce inequalities in men’s health outcomes across Birmingham.
