Come and Join the Public Health Team and our colleagues at Essential Parenting for a demo of the Birmingham Family Hub App which will give Birmingham health practitioners, educators and public health colleagues a guided tour of the app and it’s features including how to share the app with parents so that they can install the app to support them and their families.
The Birmingham Family Hub App is an app that can be used by 0-19, family hub, maternity and adult health service teams to provide targeted and universal information for all families in Birmingham. The app provides users (parents, carers, young people) with a care pathway of information that support health visiting, antenatal care, school nursing, school readiness and schooling. In this demo you will receive a:
· Guided tour of the library of Birmingham Family Hub App
· Demo of how parents receive information and choose their preferred language in the app
· Guidance on how to use the share function in the app to help parents to install the app during appointments and family hub visits.
· A tour of the adult and 0-19 library set up and how to search for information.
· Discussion on how the app can support your work with families
