Event Details

Registration for Glasgow (19th) and Edinburgh (14th) is now closed. However, you may still register for either Dundee or Inverness.

The Scottish Government is undertaking a Public Health Review of ‘public health systems and the delivery of all public health functions in Scotland with a strong focus on how public health on how public health contributes to improving health and wellbeing across the life-course, and reducing health inequalities for the future.’

The Review Group, chaired by Hamish Wilson, wishes to engage on the emergent themes in more detail with the broader community of stakeholders and has asked ScotPHN to facilitate a series of meetings to achieve this.

Regional events will be undertaken in Dundee, Glasgow and Inverness on 6th, 19th and 21st May 2015, respectively.

Aims

  • To highlight the key emergent themes to public health community.
  • To ensure a broad range of stakeholders have the opportunity to discuss the themes and share their views on how public health function can be strengthened.
  • To produce a report on engagement discussions to feed into the work of the Public Health Review Group.
