Description

Public Hearing Event Leeds– ‘Taking action on community wellbeing and inequalities in tough times’

At the What Works Centre for Wellbeing, we are developing a set of evidence-based tools to support local stakeholders to take action to improve community wellbeing and are determined that these tools should be directly informed by local experience as well as by more formal research evidence. The Public Hearing event will be an opportunity to consider what actions and tools might help.

Your contribution as someone with a track record in this field will help us shape any guidance or other products - making them relevant to commissioners and practitioners who are seeking to promote community wellbeing in local areas.

The hearing will:

  • provide an opportunity to consider how the research evidence we have gathered for What Works Centre for Wellbeing stands up against the lived experience of vulnerable groups and organisations who are seeking to develop more resilient communities

  • help us identify what guidance and other tools might help strengthen local activity.

This event is commissioned by the What Works Centre for Wellbeing as part of the Community Wellbeing Evidence Programme.
